Pasighat

Pasighat is the headquarters of East Siang district and the oldest administrative center of erstwhile NEFA. It is situated on the banks of the Siang River, the main tributary of Brahmaputra. The view of the snowclad peaks, rocky mountains and a variety of flora and fauna offer nature lovers ample opportunity to explore natural wonders. Some places of tourist attraction here are Siang Confluence at Panggin, Panggin Minyong Village, District Museum, local market etc. Adi Minyong, Adi Pasi, Padam are the major tribal who inhabit at Pasighat.
